Renowned across the vegetable kingdom, Sherlock Wheek-Holmes is the world's first and only consulting cavy detective! Born under a pile of Timothy hay at 221B Burrow Street, he displayed an early talent for sniffing out carrot thieves and deducing who stole the last romaine leaf!

Behind the famous piggy detective, of course, stood the pig-inspiration .. the very real Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, born on May 22, 1859, in Edinburgh, Scotland.

A physician, author, traveler, and spiritualist, Doyle created Sherlock Holmes in 1887, giving the literary world one of its most brilliant — and eccentric — detectives. Holmes’ razor-sharp powers of observation, violin playing, unusual addictive habits (!), and cool logic were balanced by the loyal companionship of Dr. Watson, whose steady narration helped make the adventures unforgettable.
