First released in 1975, The Rocky Horror Picture Show started out as a quirky musical comedy and went on to become one of the most famous cult movies of all time. With its spooky old mansion, outrageous costumes, wonderfully strange characters, and unforgettable songs, it developed a life far beyond the movie screen.

Audiences began turning screenings into events—dressing as the characters, calling out lines, singing along, and, of course, getting up to dance The Time Warp. Decades later, midnight screenings are still keeping the tradition alive.

Naturally, the guinea pigs have made a few adjustments. Fishnets are difficult when you’re shaped like a potato, and nobody can agree on who gets to wear the sparkly top hat. But there is one dance move every guinea pig already knows.
