Robin Hood Days

It's Robin Hood and Medieval Festival Days, Piggies & Pals! 🐹 💚 💚 💚 ⚔️ ⚔️ ⚔️ 🎯 🥕

Does your guinea pig enjoy a bit of Leaping and LARPing? Well then, dress up those piggies, in Lincoln Lettuce Green, and channel your inner Robin Hood, Maid Marian, Friar Tuck, Allan-A-Dale, or Sheriff oF Nottingham, guinea pig style!

Robin Hood has been lurking in English folklore for more than 600 years, first appearing in medieval ballads as a daring outlaw of the greenwood who outwitted authority and, as the legend evolved, became famous for “robbing from the rich and giving to the poor.” 🏹🌳

Of course, every guinea pig herd seems to have its own little Robin Hood—the piggy who waits until a wealthier herd member has secured a particularly magnificent piece of lettuce, then boldly robs from the rich mouth to feed their own poor self.

🥬🐹 No Sheriff of Nottingham, apparently, has ever succeeded in putting a stop to this ancient guinea pig custom.
