HAPPY RABBIT DAY! 🐹 💗 💜 💛 🐇 🐇 🐇 🥕

Guinea pigs aren't the only ones with a signature happy popcorn like jump!

Apparently, the animal kingdom has decided that simply “jumping” is far too dull. When animals are feeling particularly pleased with life, they have some wonderfully ridiculous names for showing it. So if Monday has you merely walking from one room to another, take inspiration from the professionals:

🐰 BINKY — rabbits leap, twist and kick in midair.

🐹 POPCORN — guinea pigs suddenly spring straight into the air with excitement.

🦌 PRONK — springbok bound into the air, often with all four feet off the ground.

🦌 STOT — deer and other antelope make stiff-legged bouncing leaps.

🐑 GAMBOL — lambs and other young animals skip, leap and frolic about.

🐴 CAPRIOLE — a spectacular equine leap with a kick of the hind legs.

🦦 WEASEL WAR DANCE — ferrets bounce, twist, leap sideways and generally behave as though Monday has finally driven them over the edge.

🐬 PORPOISE — dolphins make repeated arcing leaps out of the water.

🐋 BREACH — whales launch themselves dramatically out of the water.

And if none of those adequately expresses the joy of Rabbit Monday, just binky, popcorn, pronk, stot, gambol—or perform a weasel war dance and frighten everyone. 😄
