Irn Bru Day

Happy Irn-Bru Day, Piggies & Pals! Scotland's Other National Drink! 🐹 🧡 💙 🧡 🥤 🥤 🥤 🥕

"Irn Bru gets you through!"

Editor's note: No guinea pig models were harmed in this cartoon. They do not actually drink soda ... only single-malt whisky. 🤪 🤪 🤪

Having a bit of a day and feeling the need for something bracing and strong? If its too early for a shot of whisky, what about a sip of an iconic Scottish fizzy soda? If you can find a can or bottle, give it a taste test and try to guess it's secret recipe and unique flavour profile! It's a bit of a mystery!

Do you get hints of cream soda? orange? ginger? bubble gum?

First brewed in Scotland in 1901 by A.G. Barr, this bright orange classic (originally marketed as a strength-making beverage made from "iron girders" has baffled taste buds ever since—and proudly holds the cheeky title of Scotland’s “second favourite drink.”

A slice of orange and some blueberries is a much better orange and blue choice for today!
