For most, every day is Guinea Pig Appreciation Day! π
Guinea Pig Appreciation Day was established in 2016 by Piggles Guinea Pig Rescue in Canada. The founders chose July 16 because:
G is the 7th letter of the alphabet β July (the 7th month)
P is the 16th letter of the alphabet β 16th day
So 7/16 = G/P = Guinea Pig!
