Eagle Day

Keep looking, Piggies! You'll spot one soon! it's Eagle Day! ๐Ÿน ๐ŸคŽ ๐Ÿ’› ๐ŸคŽ ๐Ÿฆ… ๐Ÿฆ… ๐Ÿฆ…

Does your guinea pig like the sound of birdsong? No? Many piggies instinctively freeze when hearing a melodious "tweet, tweet", a harsh "caw, caw", a lonely "who who" or just about any other bird sound they are not accustomed to ...

But in another universe, they might be avid birdwatchers and be as excited as anyone about baby eagles hatching this spring!

The bald eagle, a symbol of strength and freedom, is not only the national bird of the United States but also a remarkable story of conservation success! With its majestic wingspan of up to 7.5 feet, the eagle can dive at speeds up to 100 miles per hour to snatch fish from the water!

Golden eagles, in contrast, have a beautiful warm brown color and soar over the Scottish highlands and elsewhere in the northern hemisphere.

With numbers formerly almost dwindling to extinction, conservation efforts have helped the eagle populations rebound!

Here's some cams to see more baby eagles hatching! These cams are rated P(i)G, suitable only for mature guinea pigs. ๐Ÿ˜œ
