Dr. Who Day
Grab your sonic screwdriver and tighten your time vortex, Piggies & Pals - it's Doctor Who Day! 🐹 🤖 🤖 🤖 ⌛ ⌛ 🥕
British sci-fi fan? Well ... It's The Day of the Doctor, honouring the iconic time-traveling Doctor Who, which debuted today in 1963 and is still going!!!
Whether you’re a Fourth-Doctor romantic (Tom Backer), a Tenth-Doctor devotee (David Tennant), or simply here for the TARDIS snacks, today’s the day to shout “Allons-y!”, eat something wibbly-wobbly (or crispy-greeny) and honour the universe’s favourite time-traveling troublemaker.
In a little-known Doctor Who spinoff lost somewhere between the Time War and the BBC archives, the Doctor briefly travelled with Cavy 9—better known as C9, the galaxy’s first guinea-pig-shaped robot companion!
Equipped with whisker-antennae, a retractable snack-dispenser, and a panic-wheek alarm that went off whenever danger (or vacuum cleaners) approached, C9 quickly became a fan favourite. His most famous catchphrases—“Analysis complete: I require lettuce,” and “Initiating defensive wheek!”—were shouted before launching his signature move: the Turbo Nose-Boop, capable of stunning Daleks at five metres and mildly annoying Cybermen at ten. Now that's impressive!
Wheek! Wheek!
