Curling, often called the "roaring game" due to the sound of the stone sliding across the ice, traces its origins back to 16th-century Scotland. Early games were played on frozen lochs and ponds using smooth river stones, with participants devising makeshift rules as they slid the stones toward a target. By the 19th century, standardized equipment and formalized rules emerged, leading to the creation of curling clubs, particularly in Scotland and Canada. But now, everyone is curling!
Wheek! Wheek!
