If you're feeling stressed by all that you do and you still have to prepare for an upcoming book club meeting, you're not alone. Many have confessed to speed-reading the book the evening before.

And if you are in a book club, does the club have a particular genre?Jane Austen, Historical Fiction, Self-Help, Guinea Pig Noir? Whatever it is, if you're the host, you know that you have extra responsibility coming up with pithy and wheek-worthy discussion points!

A Guinea Pig Lit Book Club would make things much easier. Shorter stories, fun illustrations, and of course, your guinea pig could attend! Snacks would be obvious, a veggie platter and beverage of your choice. BYOWB (Bring Your Own Water Bottle)!

This editor was quite fond of the Fluffy series by Kate McMullen, now out of print, about a mischievous classroom guinea pig and his friends, who inserted himself into every seasonal celebration! It really set the standard for nibble-worthy wheeky light entertainment!
