Bonfire Night

“Remember, remember the Fifth of November!” 🐹 🖤 🖤 🖤 🎆 🎆 🎆 🔥 🥕

Happy Guy Fawkes& Carrot Bonfire Night, Piggies & Pals!

The Guy Fawkes mask, famously popularised by V for Vendetta, has since become an international symbol of resistance to oppression, censorship and corruption. 👀

And in Guinea Pig World?

Naturally, it has acquired one additional meaning: resistance to the continued oppression of an empty vegetable bowl. 🥕🐹

November 5th is better known as Guy Fawkes Night or Bonfire Night, although you may also hear Fireworks Night, Gunpowder Treason Day, Plot Night or Cracker Night. The tradition commemorates the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605—a plan to blow up the Houses of Parliament and kill King James I of England, who was also James VI of Scotland.

So enjoy your Carrot Bonfire Night, revolutionary Piggies—but keep those whiskers and furry bottoms well away from the flames!

Wheek! Wheek! Remember the Fifth! 🐹 🔥 🥕
