Alien Encounter Day
T’S ALIENSTOCK ANNIVERSARY DAY, PIGGIES & PALS! 🐹 💚 💚 💚 🛸 👽
🥕☮️ Storm Area 51! They Can’t Stop All of Us! ☮️🥕
Wheeked to the tune of "The Mickey Mouse Theme"!
"🎵 Who’s that hovering in the sky,
And looking down at me!
U-F-O!
U-A-P!
P-S-Y-O-P!"
Ah, 2019. A simpler time, when the Internet briefly united around one great national objective: storming Area 51 to see what the U.S. government was hiding regarding what used to be called UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) and are now UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena). … Whatever, Dude!
It all began as a Facebook event called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us.” The viral invitation famously assured prospective raiders, “They Can’t Stop All of Us!” — a theory that, fortunately, was never subjected to rigorous field testing. Millions clicked that they were interested or going, memes multiplied at approximately the speed of light, and plans were proposed for overwhelming the defenses with everything from “Naruto runners” to Kyles and rock throwers.
Then reality intervened.
Area 51, it turned out, really was a restricted military installation, the Air Force really did discourage people from trying to enter it, and the Nevada desert really did contain a great deal of absolutely nothing — including very few places for several million Internet adventurers to sleep, eat, park or use a bathroom.
So ... plans emerged for Alienstock, a music festival in the tiny Nevada town of Rachel, near Area 51. It was envisioned as a sort of alien-themed Woodstock, complete with bands, camping, costumes and assorted extraterrestrial silliness. But that plan developed earthly complications of its own. The original organizer pulled out of the Rachel event shortly before it was to take place, citing concerns about safety and infrastructure, and shifted his support to an Area 51-themed celebration in Las Vegas.
Oh well.
Still, we all know that something is going on ... but are we being managed in our perceptions (yes), are we being prepped for the latest psy-op (yes), and are there things beyond our piggy understanding (yes)!
Peace out and STAY AWAY FROM THE TRACTOR BEAMS, PIGGIES!
Wheek! Wheek!
