Constantijn Netscher

(1668-1723)

Constantijn Netscher (1668–1723) was a Dutch painter known for his elegant portraits, historical allegories, and refined technique. The son of painter Caspar Netscher, he continued his father's legacy with a lighter palette and meticulous detail. Based in The Hague, he gained recognition as a court painter and depicted European aristocracy in luxurious settings.
