Lucy Waller

(1856-1908)

Lucy Waller (1856-1908) was a British artist born at Pendennis Castle, Falmouth, Corwall. Lucy studied at the Ipswich School of Science & Art and in 1880 passed out in Advanced Painting from where her prize winning 'animals from nature' was exhibited at South Kensington in 1884. Most noted for her paintings of animals (particularly dogs) and nature scenes and flowers, she worked in oils, watercolours, and goache.
