Louis Tesson (1820-1870) was a French artist known for his genre paintings in the Middle East. He was a pupil of Alexandre Gabriel Decamps and exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1841 to 1867. He painted some landscapes of Normandy and Provence but especially views of the Maghreb countries.
