(1910-1981)
Josef Kamenitzky Steiner (1910-1981) was an Austrian painter. In addition to occasional commissions as a portrait artist, he soon specialized in painting floral still lifes in the tradition of the Austrian still life painters Franz Werner Tamm (also a guinea pig painter), Moritz Daffinger and Franz Xaver Petter. Around 1960 he moved to Vienna, where he lived and worked until his death in 1981. He often signed his paintings with the pseudonym Reinold.
